Kai West Schlosser is a German-American, dyslexic, highly fascinating friend. I feel very fortunate that we worked together for a couple of years.
He’s in love with systems.
Systems such as the fact that every pill in the US, whether it’s a vitamin or an opioid, has a unique imprint code.
He, along with another brilliant American mind, Camille Nizet, came up with an idea to address the opioid crisis in the US, and soon after, I joined the Innovation team to kick-start this project.
We knocked on doors, got all sorts of partners involved, hustled to get permissions, got free media, spoke with people who managed to quit, set up a helpline, and got everything up and running.
It was my first time wearing all possible hats for a single project.
Now Javi is also in love with systems.
